Hi Leon and Sorelle,

Lots of good helpful information, love this! Just wondering as a Canadian what would you suggest at current time to prepare ourselves. Precious metals websites have stated that they cannot guarantee that your account may not be taken over by dictator type gov. So doesn’t seem so safe right now.

Great Question especially after we (Canadians) just had the Ottawa debacle, Have an Amazing day !!!

If I lived in Canada, I would personally be trying to GTFO. In my opinion, Canada is implementing some of the most terrifying laws that infringe upon basic human freedoms... not the kinds of laws I would want to live under.

However, if you store your precious metals under an entity name (for example, a foreign/offshore company you own), it's possible that no matter what happens in Canada, you won't be affected.

Thank you for another well-written and thought-provoking blog!

Feeding off of 'Etoile's' comment, can you offer more info on how we can proceed with investments into gold?

As a CDN who would like to GTFO, I am unfortunately one of those that cannot move freely but looking to at least GTFO of the city areas and into some acreage farther north and live off-the-grid.

Thank you so much!!

Okay, so as a person who lives in the US and has very little to my name... im borderline panicking because I know this is going to happen. But I have no idea how to not lose the few thousand dollars I have managed to save. And on top of that i just moved from small town rural to major city for a job opportunity. Which would be completely pointless if the dollar collapses.. im genuinely terrified and don't know where to start because I have so little. But I don't want to lose the tiny progress I've made in the last 6 months..

If we are interested in "putting some of our savings in rising currencies", where do you suggest we start? Is that something that can be done through Wise or Revolut?

Wise, Revolut are both options that will allow you to do this. Revolut has more currencies if I remember correctly.

I agree with the likelihood of a possible collapse. I just don't see gold and silver as good options. Gold is old. It has barely gone up in value over the last 10 years, especially when accounted for inflation. It is not practical to trade and to control. There is no asset more pristine than bitcoin. It beats gold in nearly every single metric. I enjoy all your newsletters and YouTube videos, and as financial 'experts' I am surprised you keep putting more emphasis on gold rather than bitcoin.

The collapse of the dollar is only a part of the greater collapse predicted by 3 different institutions, expected to happen no later than a couple of decades from now. NASA 2014 study, MIT world model and the GRO. we may be facing a far worse end than the collapse of the USD. We are talking today about famine and world trade disruption due to the Ukranian war. All we need is another catalyst to see the entire world go into another dark ages phase.

That's tottally true...but they will fight hard for that not to happen! They will CPR the dollar until it burns...curious fact: - Saudis start thinking accepting yuans and a Oil facility is attacked with "terrorist" missiles...

Amazing story and great information. As someone who lived somewhat intellectually isolated for 24 years Leon's words sound like pure nonsense and conspiracy but even i with my little discerning can see the signs, the " disturbance in the force". The solution perhaps is embrace what we all are from birth, earth citizens, proud of our roots, culture and traditions but never bound to a specific place, country and even doctrine. Cheers to all of you here and as usual Leon, keep it up!

Thanks! Just got my first gold by GOLD Avenue today! As I live in Switzerland it's easier. Some I will keep physically and more later to keep in their vaults as you say it's safe as it's a currency recognised worldwide. I mentioned to them that you recommended them, they were delighted of course. :) take care

Ps: have savings in USA I must get out quickly..yikes!!!

All of this is great, but as a US citizen, I've seen the atrocities and collapse of this country for some time. How is one to find another country to move to without substantial financial backing? A post on this topic would be of wonderful value.

Mexico is a good option if you don't have a lot of financial backing. Look at Mexico's retirement residency, which you can get by proving as little as $20K-ish in savings, or a little over $1K/month in income.

Thanks for this.. as a US citizen certainly gives me pause. Meanwhile thanks so much for your emails— unlike most of the rest of what I receive, I actually read yours in their entirety! Be well, -Steve
